Rev.
Brian Harmon, Pastor
Let me introduce myself to you. My name is Brian Harmon. I was born and raised in Raleigh county and I have lived in West Virginia nearly all of my life. I graduated in 1987 from Shady Spring High School and served in the United States Navy afterwards. I attended Concord College and graduated in 1994 with a degree in Biology. I moved to North Carolina for seven years and it was during my stay there that I was called into Gospel ministry.
I was officially ordained into the ministry on May 7, 2000 at Agape Baptist Church in Mebane, North Carolina. I received my Bible education diploma from Liberty Bible Institute, Lynchburg, Virginia in 2000. Since then, I have been planning, preparing, and organizing to plant and establish a new church in southern Raleigh County.
I am currently earning a Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling with hopes of establishing a faith-based counseling ministry associated with our new church. I have been married for 14 years to Leslie, my wife, and we have 4 children: Scott (13), Aaron (6), Brianna (4), and a 2 year old toddler, Will.
Jarrod Martin,
Youth/Associate Pastor
Jarrod is a 2001 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and a 2005 graduate of Appalachian Bible College. He holds a B.A. degree in Bible/Theology with a minor in Biblical Family Counseling. Jarrod is married to his wife Andrea who is also an Appalachian Bible College graduate. They have one son, Canaan who is 2. Jarrod and his family resides in Beckley, West Virginia and he is currently enrolled in the M.A. in Ministry at Appalachian Bible College.

John Rinehart, Seniors Pastor
John Rinehart joined the NBC pastoral staff on February 6th, 2005. Pastor John serves as our Seniors Pastor. He teaches our adult Sunday School class and preaches on Sunday evenings. Pastor John has served as a Bi-vocational minister for over 35 years preaching the gospel at several churches throughout southern West Virginia.
Pastor John is also a businessman and CEO of Industrial Electric in Glen Morgan, WV. John holds a Master's degree in Engineering and is an involved alumni of Virginia Tech.
One of John special spiritual gifts is that of administration and assistance in helping new churches who are preparing to build. John assists these churches with architectural design and building code requirements. John can also be found serving on a number of boards within Mountain State Baptist Association. His wife Shelia is our official church "cheerleader" as she is a wonderful supporter and encourager as the church carries out God's plans for the church.
