Our Vision

PAST

Nehemiah Baptist Church began as an interest group on September 11, 2001 at the Sleep Inn on Airport Road.  We held our first service the following Sunday on September 16, 2001 with 15 people present.

In February of 2002, the church moved into a rented church building on Bero Avenue off Eisenhower Dr.  While at this rented church building, our church saw great numerical and spiritual growth.  In this building, we grew to approximately 35 in attendance. We quickly outgrew our parking lot and building, leading us to build our current building.

Beginning in May 2005, we had the opportunity to have outdoor worship while we watched our building grow.

PRESENT

Praise the Lord!  Our building is finished and we had our dedication service on May 21st, 2006.  We have grown from having an average attendance of 25 in our previous building to having 75 in attendance.  We are able now to see more salvations and more lives changed!  We are also able to offer classes for all ages as many new members have became part of our ministry.

FUTURE

Our future ministry (3-5 years) will include a Christian counseling center, recreation field for sports ministry, a family life center,  as well as a Bible institute for area ministers and lay leaders.
