The "Aftershock" Philosophy and Guidelines

As a Youth Group, we strive to grow inwardly
in hopes that it will shake our world for Christ outwardly.

Acts 4:31 ~

And when they had prayed,

the place was shaken where they were assembled together;

and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost,

and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Youth Group Overview

The Nehemiah Baptist Church Youth Group meets every
Wednesday night at 7PM and Sunday evenings at 6PM.  We
enjoy singing, playing games, and studying God’s Word.  An emphasis
is put on the memorization of scripture and sharing what we have
learned  with others.  We also place a high importance on being
involved and reaching out to our friends, family, and into the
community.  Future goals include having a youth choir and
           praise band.

Philosophy

Our desire as a group is to…

1.  Develop a deeper, personal relationship with God
              (Ephesians
4:14-15)

2.  Encourage soul winning

    (Mark 16:15)

3.  Fully understand the Gospel and doctrine

    (Titus 2:1)

4.  See how the Bible relates to us on a day to day basis
             (II Timothy 3:16)

5.  Have fun as we fellowship and study God’s Word
             (
I Corinthians 10:31)
