We are excited to announce the beginning of Sonshine Kids Pre-school, a new community service established to meet the growing needs of our community’s parents and pre-schoolers.
To meet the increasing demand for early childhood education, Nehemiah Baptist Church has sought to offer a quality education that centers on the social and spiritual development of pre-school age (Ages 3-5) children.
At Sonshine Kids Pre-school, children can expect to participate in fundamental activities such as, alphabet letter recognition, phonics, math, handwriting skills, story time, arts & crafts, as well as cognitive and spatial orientation applications. In addition, the use of computers and creative play will provide a well-rounded education for your child.
Being a distinctively Christian Pre-school, Sonshine Kids teachers will seek to nurture the spiritual element of each child by weaving Bible stories and memory verses into the weekly pre-school schedule.
While academics and intellectual development are valued essentials within the curriculum and activities of this preschool, our emphasis is on the social and spiritual growth of each child.
Above all, our goal is to assist parents in preparing their pre-schooler socially to enter kindergarten!

Sonshine Kids Pre-school will be hosting an Enrollment Day to allow you and your pre-schooler to meet the teachers and ask any questions that you may have about pre-school.
If you can’t make the Enrollment Day, don’t worry, we can still answer your questions and mail you all the information that you need. Just call us the church on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm at 787-4740 or 890-1794.
Also our Director and teacher would be glad to talk to you about any questions or concerns that you may have.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 AM-12:00 PM (4 & 5 yr. olds)
Tuesday, Thursday 9:00 AM-12:00 PM (3 -4 yr. olds)

2 days per week: $80/month $15 Supply fee per semester
3 days per week: $95/month $25 Supply fee per semester
